Music

Throughout his career, Raffi has written a number of songs of inspiration intended for adults and children alike. “All I Really Need” (1980, from the album Baby Beluga), and “Evergreen Everblue” (1990, from the album of the same name) are good examples.

Recently, however, this writing has broadened in scope. In the spirit of Child Honouring, Raffi has been writing songs that often reflect the work of world leaders in this area, and that are always intended to inspire the people who work on behalf of children and the planet.

Often played and sung in homes, at meetings, and during conferences, these songs bring a new kind of feeling and energy—the magic of music—to the continued effort to build a Child Honouring world.

Resisto Dancing

This album is both a companion to the anthology, Child Honouring: How To Turn This World Around, and the musical expression of Raffi’s Child Honouring philosophy—a systemic remedy for the unprecedented threats to life at a defining moment in human history. The title song, written for Beluga Grads, is a blend of hip hop, Dylan, Maslow, Shakespeare and more.
