My children were raised on Raffi-I needed to get in touch to share something and came upon this wonderful site that fits like a glove with what my kids do. One is teaching/working/volunteering in Africa; another is working with the handicapped in India and just wrote saying she was having difficulty with one young man with severe mental, physical and behavioral issues there. My daughter, Jody Vance is a grad, I am a mom, all accomplished in 21 yrs. Child Honouring means the most significant, personal endeavor ever for all children. I feel privileged to be a mother of three magnificent individuals who inspire and teach me life lessons daily. I will continue to advocate for all children in a passionate way.

Yes I just love what Raffi is doing and think his music is an inspiration to all young and old. There's no better way to get in a great mood than to listen to Raffi's music. I just heard the song TURN THIS WORLD AROUND and it went right to my heart ... what a beautiful song ... I have a 16 month old baby and he just loves it.

Thank you Raffi for the great things you are doing for our children and for the world of peace. God Bless you!

The closing session at the NAEYC conference in Atlanta was fantastic. Raffi is an inspiration for all of us that are a part of children's lives daily. My daughter who is a beluga grad loves the new CD as much as I do! We have been listening and singing with it every day.

I saw Raffi's presentation on the last CCFC, in Boston. It was one of those days I will never forget. I never heard before words that were so true and at the same time simple, almost naive, giving such a genius idea - let's change the world honouring the children. I loved the presentation! I was really touched. I want to spread this idea in my country, Brazil.

I just had the privilege of attending Raffi's closing session at NAEYC's annual conference and was so moved. I had a hard time holding back the tears thinking of how wonderful the world would be if it were a Raffi inspired world. Thank you for your inspiration!

I am a beluga mom. Child Honouring means that we honour the child in all of us by taking better care of ourselves and the earth we are priveleged to live on ... that we treat each other as friends.

Being part of the compassion revolution would mean to be actively involved in sending out the word about what we need to do to turn this world around for the child in us now and the children that are just coming to be . We are all children of the earth and as such we are keepers of the earth. How do we want to keep it? Every day we make choices about what we want to be ... let them be peaceful, positive choices for all of us!

Thank you for your inspiration and kindness and modeling.

I am a 'beluga mom' who recently attended the NAEYC conference in Atlanta, Georgia. I was incredibly moved during Raffi's closing remarks. When my daughters were young, we always listened to Raffi, and I carried that love into my kindergarten classroom. (My daughters named their hand-knit teddy bears Raffi, and this tradition continues in gifts of bears and CD's to another generation of precious children.)

Emotionally touched by the words of the Covenant for Honouring Children, I will return to my (classroom) children tomorrow morning with renewed committment to them, and a visible reminder of that committment as I post 'A Covenant' in my classroom! I will share this message with my colleagues, and others!!!
