Hello! I just wanted to share something. I am 18 years old, and I was just singing "The Corner Grocery Store" out of NOWHERE! I recalled learning the song in Kindergarten, though I could only remember the tune. Luckily, with modern technology, I found Raffi's video and I am very happy. Thank you!

I'm a Beluga Grad, and I'm about to graduate from college. I haven't thought about Raffi songs in years, but I needed some inspiration in writing one of my final papers, and stumbled on Oats and Beans and Barley, and have been listening to all the songs I used to have on tape and remember listening to in the car with my parents. This is a serious email. I think Raffi should run for president of the united states. I am 30 years old and my parents are in their early 60's. They and I relate to Raffi's songs, his messages and the unspoken warm heart-felt peaceful emotional message that we are all born with. Read more…

My husband and I are "Beluga Grads" and now we have the privilege and honour of being "Beluga Parents". Our "almost" 2 year-old daughter loves your songs and we love hearing them again — they help to remind us to slow down and to really appreciate and cherish what is important. In a world that is becoming faster and more hectic it's so nice to hear a familiar voice again with a really important message!

I first started listening to Raffi when I was about nine years old, which would have been 1990. My youngest brother was two years old at the time. Our parents bought several tapes (yes tapes) and videos, which were supposed to be for our youngest sibling; however, my middle brother (two years younger than I) and myself learned all of the words to nearly every Raffi song. Proud Beluga Grad!!!! I grew up in the 80's and had the "Singable Songs for the Very Young" and my brother and I literally wore the tape out. I am now a mother of 2 and had to download the music so that my children can listen. Amazing after all these years that I can still sing just about every song that I download! My daugher calls it "her music" and wants to hear it every day.

I just sang for a children's birthday party. The girl of honor asked for Baby Beluga. I didn't know it then. I know it now. My 2 year old loves it and so do I. My first impression of your mission is entirely in keeping of my view of the world. The time is ripe for changing the way we see the world. Thank you for the work you do.

I just wanted to write and give you thanks, on behalf of myself, my Wife, Raya, and our 23-month old son Liam. Raya and I have been Raffi fans since the 1980s, when we were just wee ones. We just rediscovered Raffis work since our son was born in 2010, and only recently discovered all the amazing work he's been doing with regard to Child Honouring. Totally amazing stuff.

I have not been to a Child Honouring session but, if I have the chance I would love to. I am a Beluga Mom. I raised my daughter and son on all of your early songs along with Peter, Paul and Mommy. I also played Simon and Garfunkel for them. I loved your music. We always listened on the drive to day care and all our other trips as well as at home. My daughter is now 21 and my son is 18 and even though they thought my taste in folk music was bad for awhile they are now coming around to remember how good it was. I will definitely expose my future grandchildren when they come to your music.

I followed Raffi's music and attended concerts in the 1980's and maybe early 90's. I miss hearing him and his music. I agree that the model of honoring children (and nature) can point us in the right direction in many areas. Thus I looked him up and here I am.

When I was little, I used to listen to my cousin's Raffi cassette tape. I enjoyed the music very much. Now I am a mother to an 8 month old baby boy. He loves this music so much! He can be screaming and so upset he seems inconsolable, but if I pull up a Raffi song on You Tube, he instantly calms down! I just want to express my sincere appreciation! This music helps me keep my sanity sometimes!

I'm 19 now, & still know the words to your songs. That's how much I used to listen to you as a kid, and I really miss your music! I now have a little 9 month old sister, and I want to show her your music. Because children's music nowadays is NOT what I want her to listen to. I hope you still do performances in the future, San Diego would love to see you. Or somewhere near! I'll travel! haha I saw you perform when I was younger & I hope my sister can enjoy your music as much as I did. Thank you for making real children's music.

Just wanted to drop a note to saying that I love Raffi's works and music! I grew up with it and love every song. As an unmarried adult, I often get a few odd looks when people get into my car. More often I have a Raffi tape in than the radio on! In this day and time when radio music is filled with negative messages and filthy talk, it is much more worth my time to turn to the simple songs of my childhood. Thank you Raffi for every song, every tune and every smile!

I've been a Beluga teacher and parent since the late 70's and still have the LP records and tapes I bought long ago! Saved them because I love the music and messages! Now am a grandparent and am going to order the CD's for my 3 month old grandson! Because the world really is a rainbow...and I will love moving and dancing to your music once again!

I am a Beluga Grad! My mom was an elementary music teacher for 33 years and being such, I was introduced to Raffi at birth (1985)! I remember singing Raffi's songs everywhere I went, with everything I did. I am now an elementary music teacher and have the joy and honor of teaching my students Raffi songs! It is awesome to see things come full circle, having Raffi be a part of my childhood and now introducing him in theirs. I have recently read "The Life of a Children's Troubadour" and was inspired by the passion for children Raffi exudes.

I am a Beluga Grad, I am now 26 years old, and I listen to Raffi's albums over and over again as a child Baby Beluga being one of them, I was so touched by his song honouring the late NDP leader Jack Layton, Letter to a Nation. It brough tears to my eyes, Raffi has always had a feel for the people and he is truly a champion of children. His eco album Evergreen/Everblue is an amazing album and a call for action to protect our planet for future generations. I will always be grateful to Raffi for helping foster my lifelong love of music.

I am a Beluga Grad, and have been listening to Raffi since the late 90's (born in '94). I still listen to all these wonderful songs, and still they bring warmth to my heart and a tear to my eye. I think kids today need to get away from the culture of Rap and to see the warmth and love that family, and Raffi songs bring to the world.

I teach ASD students for Monterey County in California, and, because my students are visual learners, I often make music boards for your (Raffi's) songs. The most beautiful song is Thanks-A-Lot. If ever I had written a song so simple and yet so beautiful, I would feel that I had done one great thing in my life. So I say thanks a lot to you, Raffi, for all your great music, but for this spectacular song in particular.

We love children. We hope to soon have a child of our own, God willing, and we take care of a 6 month old baby during the week. (We play lots of Raffi music for her.) It is our great desire for all children to receive the constant love and support that they need to become healthy and giving adults. God bless Raffi for working to make this essential goal a reality.

I am an elementary school principal, but have been a fan of your music since the early 80's. My children ages 25 & 27 are extreme Beluga Grads and to this day can sing most of your songs.
