Letters To Raffi

From St Paul, Minnesota ...

Heartfelt thanks to Raffi for posing for a picture and autographing a note for my son, who has been a Raffi fan for most of his 20 years (the framed picture and note is a gift for him - he has developmental disabilities and would only understand that Mom saw Raffi by looking at the picture of us together.

I attended the workshop at the recent NAEYC conference in Atlanta, and I have such respect and admiration for the child honouring work. I have already shared my book at one of my grad school classes and plan to continue to share with other groups. I also plan to purchase a copy for the lending library in my office - we work with families who have preschool children with special needs.

I sometimes have occasion to meet with my legislators - I don't think I'd leave a meeting without leaving a copy of the book. The child honouring philosophy covers all of the important issues - education, early childhood programs, clean & healthy environment!
