Letters To Raffi

From Los Angeles, California ...

I am a beluga mom! I saw you in Los Angeles around 1992; my sons Nick and Matt were around 3 and five years old at that time. Matt was born totally blind and still loves your music; he is now 18. His younger brother, Nick was born blind in one eye so he can see and he remembers you too!

Our newest blessing, Paul is now 5 yrs old and was introduced to you by my older son, Matt. Paul is memorizing your songs now, and it's CD number 3 in our van.

I am now a nurse practitioner for Los Angeles county department of health services and want you to know that I am going to spread the word and post your covenants and principles in our clinic, and hand them out to all of the Department of Children and Family Services Children Social Workers I come into contact on a nightly basis at work, as well as the law enforcement officers and sheriffs.

You see, I work as a forensic nurse performing interviews and physical assessments on physically and sexually abused children. My heart aches too for a better world for ALL children and it starts at birth.

Your words are so powerful. I have felt many times dealing with my own special needs children, the pediatric patients and their families, and foster children in the system what you so intelligently express in such a genius manner.

I totally agree with you regarding honouring children, your covenant and principles (children are our gifts from above). I am in alignment with you all the way. God Bless you and may you continue to be healthy and well in order to continue with your great work and music on this earth!

God Bless you!!
