Letters To Raffi
From Roseville, Michigan ...
I am a beluga mom and my daughter still hasn't graduated. My daughter Ashley is 20 years old. We found Raffi shortly after Ashley was born. You see Ashley has special needs. She is still developmentally a very young child. I am sure she must be your biggest fan. I just wanted to share with how much you and your music has meant to her and to us as a family.
Ashley can't talk. She is visually and hearing impaired. She has too many diagnosis to put in this little letter. She has had more sugergies than I have bothered counting. You have been there with us through it all.
There are times when nothing can calm her but your voice on her cd player. When she is grumpy or has a bad day you are there to brighten her day. You have come into the operating room and been heard by surgeons. I know we will be listening to you forever. Ashley will not outgrow you or become a beluga grad or beluga mom. She is always your beluga girl!
I hope you will get this email. I have wanted to share this with you for a llong time. I felt it was important for you to know how you have touched one life. You have been very special to one very special young girl.
Much love and thanks!!!
