Letters To Raffi
From Metairie, LA ...
I am a Beluga Mom and I can not tell you how excited I was when my daughter called me yesterday asking if I still had her Raffi tapes that we listened to in the car every day.
She is a Sophomore at LSU and is in the PreK-3 Education program. She is currently working at the Country Day school in Baton Rouge with the 2 year olds. She said she just could not stand to play the CD's that the school had in the classroom one more day! She said she needed something with substance for "her kids" and was praying that I still had all her casette tapes from when she was a child.
I told her that I would look in the attic this weekend but then I decided this morning to go on line and see what our old friend Raffi was up to these days and order all the CD's so I could keep them for future grandchildren as well as letting Jamie share them with "her kids". Her 20th birthday is this Saturday and I'm going to surprise her when she comes home from LSU with all your CD's!
I also copied the pages from your website on Child Honouring and will give those to her too! I know she is going to be eager to read everything there is on it!
Thank you for being a huge part of my daughters' lives and a "friend" that they miss after all these years!
Regards,
Vickie Shields
