Letters To Raffi
From Madison, WI ...
I am late to the whole parenting role, I am 46 and have been blessed with an absolutely wonderful 4 year old son. I am also a lifelong musician, and while I knew of Raffi, it wasn't until I was a parent that I had a chance to listen and truly appreciate your message, and the wonderful music you have produced.
My reason for writing, is that one of your songs, no matter how many times i listen to it, always overwhelms me. Somehow, "On Christmas Morning" results in such a strong memory of my father I can't help but get a bit misty eyed - much to the disbelief of my family. Please understand, they are good memories and I appreciate the magic you were able to perform in drawing out those memories, which are already being passed on to my son.
Thanks again
and best wishes always . . .
