Letters To Raffi

Mead, WA...

I was born in 1981, and grew up with Raffi. I have two small children and we are planning to adopt more from other countries. They are and will all be raised with Raffi music. It's too sweet and caring and so great for the kids. I notice a difference when I play Raffi in the house all day, the kids love it, and they are kinder to each other, and we have more fun dancing around and singing. It also reminds me to be age appropriate with them from the books we read to the movies we watch.

Child Honouring to me means loving them and treating children as whole people, they aren't less than whole because the aren't fully grown!

I love the idea of the compassion revolution. In the last few years I have been focusing on teaching my family about kindness. We are always thinking of ways to help others and be kinder to each other in general. It's a wonderful practice. It starts at home! Once you have it, it radiates out into the world.
