Raffi continues to enjoy life on Salt Spring Island. His new community is composed of a vast array of people committed to the sustainability of their island and the world. He feels very inspired surrounded by Salt Spring's beauty and tranquility and by the passion of its people.

Launch of Spirit of One at Art Spring

April 21, Salt Spring
Mark April 21 on your calendar and come out to Art Spring on Salt Spring to hear Raffi and friends launch the Spirit of ONE campaign for the Centre for Child Honouring. This multi-media event with special guests and MC Briony Penn will gather community support for opening a Centre that will advance Child Honouring as a universal ethic worldwide. It will be a communications and training hub for promoting Child Honouring as an indispensible to sustainability.

College of Sustainability - Dialogue for Change
On Thursday, March 20 Raffi joined David Orr, Jeff Moore and Elizabeth May at the Dalhousie University College of Sustainability in Halifax in a discussion moderated by Jian Ghomeshi of CBC's The Q on what and who, will drive us to become a sustainable society. He presented Child Honouring as the key to creating humane and sustainable societies. Raffi's new song, SustainABILITY was premiered that night to a standing ovation.

David Korten and Raffi

In his talks on a recent book tour promoting Agenda For A New Economy, including a presentation to 600 at Seattle's Green Festival, David Korten played a new song, No Wall Too Tall, an advance single from Raffi's upcoming cd Communion. The song also aired on Amy Goodman's show, Democracy Now.

Raffi In Ervin Laszlo Book

The Akashic Experience, a new anthology by Ervin Laszlo (Club of Budapest founder and president), contains a chapter by Raffi, a Club of Budapest member.

Upcoming Appearances

On Friday, April 24 Raffi will open the APPPAH (Association for Prenatal & Perinatal Psychology & Health) conference at Asilomar, California.

On Monday, April 27 Raffi will speak at the Towards 2020, Canada's Commitment to Children and Youth conference in Ottawa, Ontario.
